Hey guys.
I’m back with a 240. Got the one with no pic that was in the trader this week. 1989 listed for $1100. I didn’t pay that much though.
Needs a little work.
Under load in the lower RPMs, there is very pronouced stumble. Very jerky, I have to bring the revs up to almost three grand to get it to go away. It’s mainly there, but there are times when the stumble is nowhere near as pronounced. The plugs and wires are apparnetly new. The Cam angle sensor looks to have a new shiny bolt in the adjusting area. I don’t have a timing gun, so I can’t check that right now. Could this be a timing related problem? If I could get pointed in the right direction that’d be awesome.
The car feels a little underpowered (even for a SOHC) Smooth, but something is going on.
Good to be back on the board. Good to be back in a S13. Cheap, rotten, ugly, not running right…but it’s still an S13 again.
Thanks guys.
