where would you put the breather?
A
B
C
D
OBV id remove the bowtie logo in pic B…
C
i also like C
C
C now go do it!!
C
if not then D
I wouldn’t choose D simply because I have seen a tendency of some cars with breathers to leak a bit of oil out of them at times… In the position in D, the breather is tipped directly over a header primary… not where I would want oil to drip.
I chose C
C
very true. didnt even think of that
C
i was thinking that and also that with vibration ad whatnot it might also fall out easier because of the angle at which its mounted. Thanks for the input guys! it was a toss up between C and A for me.
Next question, should i have one on both sides or just one?
C
c
c sounds most practical
C is the highest point on the valve cover.
go with c, if you put it on the side itll leak. and ditch the bowtie stickers anyways
C and both sides.
C for the driver side. That’s where is is on most valve covers. The passenger side would be towards the back of the block. I take it your not running a pcv or evac set up. I would run one or the other, don’t just run breathers on both sides. I do like those valve covers. What make are they?
That was my other thought… is the PCV behind the carb? Or is this shudder a road draft engine?
