me and my roommate have 2 female pitts in our house and they LOVE to play and cuddle and shit like that never bit anyone but every now and again they get into fights and that is the only time anyone even gets snapped at wen we r breakin it up
and for the ppl that do fight dogs i say throw them into the ring wit dogs that dont kno them and let them see how it feels to get fucked up like their dogs do

pits are amzing dogs, very smart, loyal, protective. people abuse that loyalty and teach them to attack and be mean, its a shame. my buddy has a pit, and its a big lap dog. my rott is the same way, she loves affection, i hate when people do that to dogs,
So being at the shelter this weekend… the Pit to other dog ratio is 9-1 in the 2 Western PA Humane Society shelters. Its outragous.
If I got one I would rather have one from a puppy(like 3 months old), Most of the pits that we saw were nice and all, we just dont have a big enough yard to let the dog run around in/burn off steam.
My parents have a rott that we got from the shelter that was abused, she is the nicest dog in the world if she knows you, will scare the fuck out of anyone she doesnt know, but she is scared to death of anything that makes noise e.g. plastic bags, balloons, remote control cars
