places to ride

i am looking at buying a quad, but where in the hell can i ride this thing that aint gonna get me in trouble and i dont want to drive 3 days to get there

slippery rock dunes, marienville trails, south park dumps, imperial dumps. where are you located? dunno if any of that is close to you.

im in latrobe and the quad i am looking at is 4wd with a winch so it should be able to go just about anywhere

they started mining again at craigsville so can’t ride up there anymore i guess.

derry ridge

legal?

were are they at?

dunno, my father in law goes quite a bit. i’ve been there 4 or 5 times no problems. lots of people ride up there. i guess a lot park in millwood and head up the hill. look up on the ridge where the fire tower is. there are trails all around it.

Trailer to Johnstown once a month for the trail rides we go on. Firehalls are always have poker runs that are 30+ miles. Tons of places to ride here (like my property), but I can’t help you in Latrobe, Travis. haha.

i gues the best way to describe in would be out behind trax farms and mineral beach. from there the trails and coal dumps just kinda go through that area all in different directions. its ok for somethin close but not the coolest place ever, by any means.

… check them out, it’ll be about an hour drive from latrobe but its all legal and worth it i guess if you have a 4x4.

I rode Tri-County’s trails before on a poker run. Pretty fun, nothing challenging as far as climbs or anything tight, but it was a good time.

probally if i decide to get it i will join these

and tricounty

Rock Run has good riding. Used to hunt out there years ago. Tricounty is only 10 min. from my house and rock run is 20 min.

www.swatatvteam.com A good bunch of guys and gals. All ages, all kinds of quads, usually a ride every weekend with a couple big rides every year.
