possible to get cuts on sidewall of tire fixed?

any recommendations on places that can fix my tire that has a little cut on the sidewall of it?

i also bent 2 on my rims hitting some random debris on the road
any idea on how much it would cost me to have my wheel polished aluminum lip bend back into place?

thanks for any help in advance

sidewall cuts are not supposed to be repaired, its unlikely you will find anyone to fix it.

the same goes for punctures that are pretty much in the sidewall/shoulder.

you’re better off just scrapping the tires (safety issue)

yeah they dont usually fix sidewalls because it wont stick under stress,

but what you CAN do to save your tire is put a tube inside, what a shop does is take your tire off, put a tube inside, and put it back on

that way you can still use your tire, it usually costs around 20 $, works great

really?
this tire is pretty much brand new, like 90% + tred left, you can still see the lines!!!
would this compromise any performance issues having a tube inside a tubeless tire?

also, any places that you know of that will do this?

thanks

the tire is a 245 40 zr 17

yea u cant fix it no way it would be pointless even if its a small pin its on the side there is more pressure built up on the sides.

The safety issues and reliability issues aren’t worth it, bite the bullet, and get a new tire.

Just call up some random tire shops and see if they will put a tube in for you, nope theres no issues, alot of trucks run tubes all the time because their tires are expensive to replace and they get nails and shit all the time. It balances out and theres usually no problems with it. Dont waste your money on a new tire.
