Update
I got everything installed in the salon. I get full 4G there, so I just hooked up the Airport Express to extend my wireless tether and supply all the devices (macbook pro, ipad2, iphone 4, k1 tablet) and use airplay off the MBP (which will likely be her scheduling/point of sale). The sound is phenomenal. I got the speakers from “thedeepdiscount” on eBay for $40 shipped and they have amazing clarity and bass extension. Volume is impressive at about a 1/4, don’t have any need to take it higher.
