Our vet breeds Shepherds, so we asked him about all that, and he’s the one who reccomended the food. Makes their fur nice and helps with puppy growth. Now that they’re almost 4, we still haven’t had any major health problems. Oh also, make sure you elevate his food, they’re really prone to bloat, and that can kill a dog pretty quick. :sad
just stay away from food that says “for large breads” cause they may cause him to grow too fast and have health issues.

but yea, you wana make sure with a vet what to feed them. i think youre supposed to go by weight. my grandmother has to feed their cat by weight. hes so fat that he got diabeetus. so now they have to work on getting him to drop weight. they gotta use some sort of special diet cat food, prescribed by a vet. basically its a huge pain in the ass in the long run if u dont do it right from the get go. id definitely look for dog breeding forums and see what ppl say there. also, id just plain out ask other people in the park that have the same dog. if you talk to a buncha ppl and 90% of them say they feed theirs a particular food and have no problems, its a good bet that that one would work, ya know?
