It’s so so, the more expsensive ones are not bad. Acer is the type of laptop you give to your 13 year old daughter, their decent hardware and will put up with what most teenage girls do these days such as music/facebook/farmville/sending nudes, and cheap enough to where if they break them you don’t give a shit because it was cheap.

the build quality on them can be hit or miss between the differant models. I’ve had quite a few with random issues with cd drive slots/wifi slots stop working, not just the hardware, but the slots on the motherboard themselves going bad

Honestly if your going to get a laptop get a dell, not because im a dell fanboy, but literally the market is so saturated with them, parts are generally easier to come buy and cheaper. Plus dell laptops are a pleasure to take apart compared to most other brands

So far this laptop is top notch. It’s a rocket ship and rock solid. I don’t think I’m going ti have any issues.

Dells are junk. I’ve went through 3 of them from the beginning of the year. Who cares if the market is over saturated with parts, when you run a business like I do and your main communication is a laptop, time is money and waiting for parts isn’t in my plans.

Acer > Dell any day. I will tell you guys right now that out of any computer sold at Best Buy, HP/Compaq and Dell were the most problematic when it came to hardware issues in the current models. Lets not forget the fact that Acer bought Gateway and combined technologies. There is a reason that Acer is the market leader in Europe.

Onkyno 5.1 system in a box for $60 off CL … Not amazing but paired with my Sony’s actually quite surprised with how it sounds

Couches from sam for ~$150 dyed the covers brown…

Everythings kinda mismatched but a lot of it was old shit from my rents… still need to get a new carpet…

Nice thing about this house is, I can run everything for the video/audio from my computer, and for the surround speakers under the floor from the basement
