Oh boy Mike! What EMS is this thing going to run? AEM?

http://blog.dailycal.org/sex/files/2009/10/shots-shots-shots-shots.jpg

x1000000

mike whats going in that? pauter X’s and some CP’s?

Yeah im gonna run AEM EMS. Easy and plug and play, luckily i dont have drive by wire like the 96+, no plug and play system for those.

You know it. Benson sleeves, half a dozen pauters, and some 93mm 10:1 cp’s bumping the displacement to 3.2l. They’ve never let me down before, so stick with what works. I’m still trying to figure out what parts to run in the head. I’m gonna be selling my stock longblock in running condition to recoupe a lot of the expenses of rebuilding this motor.

is 93mm max sleeve? i never knew you to be one to leave room for future machine work on the cylinders :lol

im sure the heads will get the mike cowley Ferrea valvetrain and a good port job

also whats a healthy NSX engine go for, 5-6 grand?

i’ve still got to do some investigating i havent looked into the motor build too much until i got a deal on this longblock. sos lists on their website they can do up to 95.5 not sure if thats all motor or FI. i’ll talk to Mike laskey or Dan benson and see what they suggest for the c30.

scienceofspeed has a c30a for sale $5500 with 100k miles like mine, im hoping to get $5000. These motors are somewhat hard to get a hold of i guess price depends on whats available at the time. c30a’s are pretty reliable so 100k miles is just like any other honda motor barely broken in.

I know this is way off topic, but all this NSX talk got me Thinking about How nasty a LS1 swapped NSX would be.

I feel like that would be more difficult to do than the civette

http://www.ls7nsx.com/

welp… when theres an ls7, theres a way

downright nasty. I bet that thing is fast as fuck and handles amazing.

why is this? Its already a rwd platform.

why?
its mid engine and its already a lightweight aluminum engine, throwing an LS1 in there would kind of kill the car.

plus a C30 with the mike/synapse treatment will make enough power and put it down well to mop up alot of things around here, and still be able to take a turn.

I was just thinkin it would be more difficult because of the way the motor sits in a stock nsx.

why?

its different my friend.

look at that build… ridiculous amount of fab work as opposed to drop in and go (fast)

Just look at it.

:rofl
