Will it sound alright having it so close to you? I feel like itll make it sound somewhat artificial and to easy to your ear to distinguish where the bass is comming from rather then having it fill the soundspace
It’s going to be all subsonic, so it should be pretty seamless. It’ll take a lot to overpower my mains, I have 4x BiC RTR 123 12" 3-ways, 2x JBL TLX-150 8" 3-ways, 2x Insignia NS-B2111 6.5’’ 2-ways all receiving 110w RMS each.
That reminds me, does anyone want to buy my current HT subwoofer? It’s a Yamaha YSTSW216BL 10" servo driven unit - $50 obo, it’s pretty mint. Also have an Apex Junior 140w RMS home theater subwoofer “plate” amp that will drive most subwoofers pretty good, has built in adjustable low pass crossover - $40 for that.
Actually one thing I was unsure about, is I’d like to get another Amp to bi-wire my speakers, whats a good amp(s) thats not too pricey to do so with?
What kind of price range are we talking? What speakers do you have?

I had a pair of Sennheiser cx300 ii’s that I paid $40 for. Those were amazing for the money but the right earbud crapped out after 3 months.
I got a ridiculous deal on a pair of cx485’s ($15) a couple weeks ago. I have about 15 different pairs of earbuds and these are definitely my favorite. I have Bose IE2’s as well, not a fan of those honestly.
As cheap as skullcandy are, I got a set of the fmj or titan, dont remember which, but in rasta colors lol for $5 on a deal site, and they are pretty decent for my battlefield shootouts

How visible are is the display? I had a Pioneer in my Mustang and theres one in the truck at work and I can barely see the numbers and letters in the middle of the day, theyre really dim and brightness isnt adjustable.
Theres a pioneer tape deck in my Z lol
The display on that deck is very Sharp. Can adjust it to like 12 different colors as well
Please stop posting pictures of all this home theater stuff…it’s giving me the itch lol. Home theater is like my new thing now. I’m always looking to upgrade my setup but I’m pretty happy right now with what I’m working with. Next up on my list is a Logitech harmony one remote so I can eliminate the clutter on the coffee table haha. Then I need to finally wall mount my plasma which I’ve had the mount for and wall mount my surrounds and conceal the cables. I’ve been too busy for all these projects

Got a good price on one of these new. Plus turned out I had an amazon store card which I did not realize :lol So said fuck it. The censor is not as good as whats in the D5100 from what I understand, but honestly after using it and playing with the D90 at best buy, I like a big body camera much better. Plus the ability to use some of the older AF lenses is nice as well.
I mounted my TV the other day, I almost had it by myself but holy fuck is a 70" TV awkward to handle. I just bought a bunch of other shit, but I need to stop as I’m opening a PC repair business next month and need cash. :lol
