I got my Kouki back from CARSTAR 401 the other day with a fresh paint job.

Windshield came out, new trim around it, not a full windows off thing but pretty close, bumpers off etc… car looks solid… i have a shit camera right now so i cant get anything really good but hopefully some of these will give you an idea.

It’s an OEM BMW Black with some pearl in it, nothing too crazy but very nice.

I had my S14 valances installed, the fibreglass reps… I also rolled the fenders in the days leading up to the car going in and they put a healthy dose of rocker guard up in there… lots of little things like that…

the paint and materials alone are $2k for the BASF Glasurit line.

people that price by the job have to cut corners or trim the materials budget to make the job profitable. Shops that charge by the hour can’t job quote because you enver know just how long it will take and there are always little extras that you’ll want done.
