IMO a lot of older recievers I’ve heard sound much better then new ones now a days.
I actually read an article on cnet a month or so back from one of their audio guys about why new high end receivers will never live up to old school audiophiles or something like that. Basicly said most new receivers even high end will never carry over the quality in which many older receivers do
