Post your Zombie Defense Kit

Youre thinking vampires. Not zombies.

SSSSSSsssssshhhhhhh!

When the zombies come I want to watch what happens when he throws holy water on them.

let me know how that works out.

I’m not sure if burning a zombie with a super soaker is effective enough for me. Maybe a fuel tanker like in True Lies would work though.

you know your EOTECH is absurdly far forward right?

guns are fun but they are eventually going to run out of amo these are what you really want and what I would use.

gotta save room for a BUIS and a magnifier

I like JayS’s plan but we should take over Grand Island. We could get a few hundred survivors there (maybe a 1000 or more if possible) and barricade in somehwere until winter. When the zombies were frozen we could simply walk around and cut their heads off with swords or axes each day until they were gone from the island. Since they would be frozen they couldn’t do anything about it and we would have a zombie free zone. If we had teams of 5 we could clear that island in a month or 2 easy.

I know I have enough ammo for my guns to last a while but there is nothing like a good old fashioned machete to get the job done.

We could also send a team to the Niagara Falls Air Force base, I know they have some cool shit there we would need. Does anyone know how to fly a Blackhawk?

I like it. I’d still start with Navy Island though. Being unpopulated it would give you a chance to plan, arm up, figure out what kind of zombie you’re dealing with etc. From there come up with a plan to take out the north and south GI bridges, then go in and clean up GI.

Definitely have to break into the the base, hopefully find some C4 to take out the bridges. Navy island could be the rendezvous

I’m realizing something from this thread. The day the zombies attack appears to be when pushrods inherit the earth.

I’ve had my z-day plan in thought for over a year now - which involves taking over grand island and taking out the bridges. We should formulate a universal sign so we know we are NOT zombies.

I’ve got a shotgun a rifle and a four wheel drive

I like the thinking going on so far.

For me I’d jump into Navy Island because it isn’t inhabited. Use it for a great starting point.

I fear that Grand Island would still be vulnerable though. I’m not sure that the water is deep enough or that there is a swift enough current to carry any potential zombies off.

I also would NOT blow up the bridges. They provide you a very easy escape route. What I would do is open the bridges up and barricade them.

Grab a tow truck and about 10 guys and clear off each bridge. Then once clear I’d stack up all the junk cars at the entrance of the bridge as a barricade with an money door. Half way across the bridge I’d fab up a draw bridge so the deck was 100% open at that point. So even if zombies do make it to that point they would just fall into the water below. Then if you needed to grab supplies or ditch the island for some reason you could get out in a hurry via the bridges. I would also have a safe landing zone on each shore.

That way if you had to ditch the island you could ram your boat into a boat house that is already stocked with a fortified hummer, guns and food.

In an outbreak it is easier to stay on the move then to fight zombies from one stronghold.

Also a flame thrower wouldn’t really do shit as it takes a long time to burn a body into ashes. You would just have zombies on fire attacking you, awesome. They also might start your fort on fire. Not good!

Fire should only be use when disposing of zombie bodies.

Walls are great until there is a horde of 1K + zombies attacking as they will eventually start to walk on top of each other making a ramp right over your wall. Walls are great and by you time but are not a solution. Unless you can clear the bodies and ensure they will not penetrate the border.

I’d have a series of chain link fences up to slow the zombies down. Then you can shot them and clean them from that spot safely.

NEW PLAN

feed Dos to the zombies as a getaway distraction

A .22 and a lobotomizer.

End of story.

other plan shoot boardjnky4 in the head - and cut of his parts and throw them for distraction

Zombies only chase / eat living creatures not dead ones. Therefore they wouldn’t be distracted at all.

Oh also make sure you have some dogs in your forts because dogs can sense people who have been bitten before they turn into all out zombies.
