you want to go to powdertech or Prodigy?
if youre driving ill ride down to NJ as well, check it out, but i def need to go to powdertech
I’ll be going down to Prodigy in Westchester sometime this winter… Doubt I’ll be going to the one in jersey…

Will do!
I was at Powdertech today, :ninja
oh yea? doing?
Brakes are getting done, I’ll post pics when I get them back!
I am going to have my lexus factory 17s redone in silver next year. Still need to figure out who is doing it
woot! def in for the pics!
really? i actually dont want silver because 95% of the cars on the road i see have silver wheels. totally post pics though.
if I can get my oven built by then i’ll be glad to… i just highly doubt 17s will fit in my tiny ass oven… lol.
YOU WILL MAKE THEM FIT
Def interested in how they turn out !
you and your pics lol
yea you need an oven that can fit 20’s sheesh
I’m sure that has nothing to do with why they came out like shit after 6 months.
my logic is simple when it comes to wheels and calipers getting colorized. its a part thats on the outside of the car. its exposed to the elements. it gets pelted by rocks, sand, grit, dirt, salt, snow, hot pieces of brake pads, brake dust and all kinds of shit out there. it goes through hot/cold/hot/cold cycles constantly and is under stress all the time. same with the calipers. painting them lasts only a little. unless its a show only trailer queen car, do it right and get that shit powdercoated. its a durable as hell finish. its tough to get that shit off. so for years to come itll still stay on. paint will chip off, especially on a daily driven car thats being driven year round, not jsut a summer daily.
^True dat
I was going to just paint them myself, but I figured it’s worth the money to have them done right.
Well when I actually build my oven, it will be large enough to fit probably all 4 20’s at a time… lol. I plan on making it large enough to easily be able to do motorcycle frames, etc. GOtta get the steel and what not…but its kinda hard to do on a budget of $0.00… lol. When I do it, it will have a seperate piece that I can hang the part off of to spray it then roll that whole assembly into the oven so that it will minimize the amount of movement that the part requires. Then I will have another rolling “cart” that will be more of a tray to hold parts that dont require 360* coating.
