Go drive around suburbia during the day when everyone is at work. Almost every decent house has an outdoor outlet. Pull up quick, heat off your badge, drive away.

You took apart a street light looking for an outlet? Jackass. Just pull up a manhole cover. OSHA mandates there be an outlet within 5 feet of the cover so that workers can plug in lighting and ambient atmospheric monitors so they can work safely. Just use that.
