does anyone know FOR SURE if power steering needs to be connected to pass a safety? apperently there is an MTO officer coming by tonight to drop off some charges for me 1 being steering.
BACKGROUND, 1990 hatch wrong PS lines for SR, therefore they’re not connected.
SIDEBAR: anyone have a flex/soft PS line to sell?

YOU NEED PS to pass a real saftey
i got a mechanic friend to pass me on the cefiro after i failed at a normal garage for not having any ps.
you can get it passed, but you’ll be given a fix-it ticket most likely and they’ll want to see the problem fixed. which means actual ps.
you might bebale to get the RHD stuff to work.

and i passed a REAL safety without it aswell.
BUT if you go by the book, YOU MUST HAVE power steering if the car is equiped with it. That is 1 of the major things this years erase/lblitz was after. People disconecting there ps belts and hoses.
