power window issue, the plastic pulley broke?

Okay so i was just rolling up my window, and i don’t know if i heard a noise or not, but soon after, the window starts to roll down…
i ripped the door skin off, and whenever i flick the switch the motor spins
and it spins the 2 sprockets. What i believe the problem is, from feeling around
and picking up a broken white piece of pulley, that motor has a sprocket attached at the end, and that sprocket spins another sprocket that is
joined side by side with a plastic pulley that pulls the cable up and down

The question is, can i pull the whole window unit along with the rails
as one unit? I can’t figure out a way to replace that sprocket without
having some good clearance for my hand to work around in…

any suggestion?

its going to be safer to remove the glass from the track rather than pull the glass and the track.

I have always done them seperately

yea ive always removed the glass first.

but after i remove the glass, the track unit can come out as one rite?
track + pulley + motor and all that?

yup

nope lol

then how can i replace the pulley? it’s like on the backside
of the sprocket (the one on the right that gets driven by the motor)
has anyone ever had this happen?

IIRC you will not be able to replace the pulleys as they are riveted to the track. (correct me if I’m wrong. I havent seen one for years)

You will most likely need to replace the whole track.

Go to jusnk yards and grab one as they are not that expensive. If you go to the dealer you will find that it is about 500 i think.
