Its your god damn kids life you moron. The truck can be replaced the kid can’t. I don’t have kids but if I did I wouldn’t use poor judgement like yourself to worry about the truck over the kid.
^Gets it
I don’t care if the trucks in park, in drive, or upside down, I’m going to save my kid before the car, that would be my only thought, my only concern at that time.
I am not suggesting that you should put your vehicle above your kids. My point is that it is a automatic response to put a vehicle in park when getting out. The whole thing does not sit right with me. I am sorry but his story does not work with me.
Insurance scam
I don’t care if the story is fake or real. Its a given scenario either way. I rather take my chances saving my kids life over worrying about putting the truck in park in case it so happened to roll back and hit someone. Screw them and the cop my kid would come first plain and simple.
The truck was probably stopped when the kid jumped out. these things have child locks where the door cannot be opened from the inside. and if he is 5 he is not sitting in the front seat. sorry but something doesn’t add up. You’re telling me that this guy parked right at the edge of a 35foot cliff, and his son just got out and almost fell off? Or that he parked 50feet away, and his son runs a 3.85 40yrd dash and he just didnt have time to put his brake on. And why the fuck/how are you feeding ducks from 35feet in the air?
he probably could have stopped it. insurance scam.
the failure to show insurance card is stupid, but the failure to park isn’t.
I’m going with the kid is stupid if he is running towards a cliff and actually would jump off it. Just saying.
Great parenting if you have yet to teach him not to run out of a moving vehicle. If the vehicle was stopped, why wasnt it in park to begin with. If he jumped out of the car/truck that quickly, how has this not happened before? wouldnt you put the child safety locks on the doors?
Congrats for saving the kid, but horrible parenting if it got to that point.
