Problem with wlaboro pump and sr injectors

i installed my sr 370 injectors and my walboro fuel pump on my91 ka today . i went for a drive everything was ok run totally fine …

when i started the car again it felt that the motor was flooded and when i got it started it had a very very rough idle to it . lots of gas spit out of the exhaust and lots of smoke came out

what do i do to fix this problem??

i installed a safc after that and set the lo and high throttle point to -10 and im still haveing this problem … what should i do??what can this be ?

Do you have a wideband o2 sensor? You installed injectors that are like 37% larger (stock KA’s are 270 I believe?) than stock and a larger pump. Did you take out 35%-38% fuel across the entire mapping on the safc? If not it is definately going to be rich. IMO any time you are going to be messing with fuel with some sort of aftermarket type computer you should have a wideband to truly know the results of the changes you have made.

fuel pump shouldnt matter, ir an walbro with my ka without any tuning no problem, our pump is simple, not a 2stage, its the injectors, you ened to tune according to your injectors, for example, 20% of stock injector capacity is alot smaller than 20% of your aftermarket injector capacity

ok soo what i did today was i put the stock injectors back in // now its a lil better but still not performing as well

SAFC = 2D mapping system for MAF flow correction ( air ( curve) seen by the ECU to use in the look up table FOR …

…the ECU = 3D maping system. utilizing load & RPM with preset fuel and air curves ( factory tuning) used to calculate proper fluel flow/spark )

of course it won’t work… this has only been said ~ 10 times in the last year.

SAFR/SAFC was to be used in conjuction WITH a remapped ECU that did not have a ‘MAF size’ correction retune in it…
