I knew what it was before I clicked. This is very old. You should always have your hands at the ready to alt-tab anyway, or have a job where you’re high enough up that people aren’t really going to care if you’re getting your shit done.

That’s pretty cool… as long as you have rights to install software. you’re ok.
The whole “installing software” part ruins it for most people. Most network admins would see the software (or the switch) and know what’s up. If they don’t like you, or have any reason to help keep your job, they’d probably turn you in.

don’t ever doubt that those nerdy iT guys aren’t sitting around monitoring your webusage. most monitor AIM usage etc as well.
if you have even basic privledges ( not even install necessary ) and want to get around all of those monitoring tools, PM me ftw =)
Eh… I just use the multiple desktop settings on my comp with hotkeys; go from e-mail and word on one desktop, to Pro/E on another, to Internet on the third… Gotta love the Nvidia Quadro cards…
