were u able to find/mismatch mounts that are going to work? everything i saw for b16/b18 into a crx were custom mounts
im not sure if the mounts are different… but my friend 97_b18b had a b18 in his crx, maybe pm him and ask what he used

the man to talk to would be shane he had his high compression ls vtec in is crx
the only mounts that will work are swap mounts meant for a crx, but they require the drivers side block mount from a 90-93 integra and the rear T bracket also
yea thats what i was telling him, the only thing i found was upgraded motor mounts meant for a bseries into a crx… which were like 400$
lookin good  when are you planning on finishing this build?
I really like this project, Its cool how its pretty minimal, but you are taking your time and enjoying putting the motor together, cleaning it up and not just slapping it back in. Something about motor assembly makes me feel good.
One method ive used in the past is using Duplicolor engine clear to paint the bare alum so it will stay clean and shiny
 nice work man
ya probably did but did you plastigauge the bearings?
Well as soon as I can but there’s a whole nother half to this.
Might have to try that!
Thanks bud!
You have to look close but its there!
The water pump I was going to use didn’t have the alignment dowels so I just used the one I had from my other car.
Got a lot done today. I have to weld the oil pan up, it had a hole from a turbo drain, Going to start cleaning up the intake manifold tomarrow, Need to order a inake gasket and some studs.
To be cleaned - Befor pic
I have aftermarkets mounts for a CRX, my issue is with the part that bolts to the block, I dont seem to have the right one. I will see what the 90=93 tegs look like. So how do you tell the T brackets apart?
hey man, do you have the part number for those adapters for the breater box?
nice cams there
Thanks!!
thanks man.
I had two outer covers, used the one on the left. The one on the right is for a LS
Here’s the cover I didn’t realized needed to go on before the cams… that sucked
My trick to cleaning rusty bolts
Cleaned up the 3 bolts for the intermediate shaft. I anti seize most bolts, installed so I don’t lose track off them
These are all the bolts that hold on the timing belt cover
Covers cleaned
The second time I had to install the belt and align everything
Torque the pulley 130ft lbs. used this pipe to hold the flywheel bolts
Installed the gaskets in the valve cover
Alternator brackets and bolts
Alternator installed
The distributor stills needs to be taken apart and cleaned but I gathered up the bolts clean them and install them to keep track.
I installed plugs to keep dirt out of the cylinders. What should I gap them to? I think the book said .043?
The last thing I did was take apart the vtec solenoid to be cleaned.
Still have parts to clean and go thru… I have to order a intake gasket and a freeze plug
lol… trade me motors
that other bottom cover looks to be from a 96- up motor with the sensor
We can talk
I’v never had one of them, the LS has the CPS also
