So I had an idea, since I’m redoing most of all the wiring I was thinking of incorporating a GM 3bar MAP sensor, then I thought since I have a set of 450cc injectors why not run them? This way if I ever sell or decide to throw on a turbo set up the work would be limited. What do you guys think? I also have a tapped oil pan that instead of welding up I could just cap it. I think this is a smart way to go…?

lol just fucking boost it and leave it a DD at like 7lbs … you would be safe to do it with the 450’s and such … just a t3/t4 nothing big

sounds like you are all set for boost. Just run 7-10 lbs and call it a day. It’ll be hard not to want to up the boost though, lol.

ot: what sort of hp gains are expected with 10lb of boost?

I sold my other manifold and traded my FMI… IDK we will see, the car does have a sweet 3" exhaust! Don’t forget Im building a whole other car, this is just for fun or something …lol

You are absolutely right… It looks like as soon as this car is up and running I’m going to post it for sale, hopefully I can recover what I have into it plus a few bucks, then turn around and get Shrek back up and going. Never enough time or money…

I do happen to have a GSR block that I don’t know exactly what to do with. It needs to be honed out to 82mm to clean up the destruction from that valve that snapped. I might sell or keep it and maybe send it out to be sleeved some day. The other choice is to hone and replace the pistons then run it. Point is why not be prepared and ready for anything? You know how this Honda business goes… (actually I have a LS on the shelf also… Should have rebuilt that but I didn’t own it at the time)

What would be so bad about running the 450cc? I picked up that resister box and don’t plan to use it for Shrek… Just trying to make some room in my house… I look around and ask myself why the heck I keep some of this junk around…lol

The other thing I have been contemplating… The CRX is in slightly better shape then the CX. I also know the CRX is lighter. So logic tells me if I want to be the fastest I can I would build up the CRX right? The negative is I don’t honestly care much for the CRX style. I like that the civic is newer and does have some sentimental value to it. The other thing is I want one kick ass car not two or more mediocre… Neither cars I feel will ever meet that goal, weather it be rust, dents or a ryno liner painted engine bay, I know those things can be fixed but Im talking mint…The CRX also has a smaller engine bay making the top mount set up I have a little more difficult.

Just picked up a GSR front break swap for shrek and have a rear break swap ready to go on. Other then the suspension, breaks and hollowed out dash (no heater or a/c) Shrek doesn’t have anything special I cant just walk away from… If you know what im mean.

So do I build up and boost the CRX and put the CX together with the NA B16 or do I continue on the original track and get the CRX running with the b16 and keep Shrek on schedule with the LS/VTEC?
