Well im bored at work so i guess ill share what i have done so far, although its not much…
I’m new to the whole 240sx scene only got into it about a year ago. To be honest i didn’t even know what a 240 was, up until just before i bought my first coupe…
I bought this off a guy i knew from work, god how i miss that car…
anyways i drove that for a season and sold it only to some d’oh head who later put it into a pole, the car deserved much better:(
After that was sold i was looking for a project and i came across this beauty…
So i trailered it home, thanks to my friend Lane, for his truck. here’s a couple pics when i bought it.
Finally got it back to peterborough but stored it at a friends shop,
that is where it sat for about 4 months up until a week ago…
During that time saved up a little and bought this nice piece of machinery
Thanks again to Varun, great guy http://www.240sx.ca
After finally getting git back to my parents new place ( a week ago) i decided to paint the engine bay since the previous owner had stitch welding and a couple patches done to it.
Looked like this before:
Yeah so thats all i have done, isn’t much but its slowly getting there, weekend by weekend.
Parts that are on or going on car…
S14 Sr20det VVT
Megan exhaust manifold
Megan Turbo elbow
Apexi N1 exhaust
Greddy boost, oil pressure and egt gauges
Zeitronix wide band
Greddy boost controller
180sx brakes
Koyo Rad
lowered just on springs, some stance GR + will come prob in the near future
probably missing some things but o well, list will continue
This weekend engine will be going in, wiring harness is being shipped off to be rewired on Monday. so i ll have that back in just less then 2 weeks.
During that time ill hook everything up in the engine bay, put exhaust on, front mount, hook up gauge’s and all the other little things.
So that hopefully when the harness is back i should be able to plug everything in and start it, well thats the plan.
I’m still looking for some wheels though… any suggestions? I love bronze/gold wheels…any suggestions? doesn’t have to be those colours…
