I know where your going with this tho… its easy to see that a lot of 240 guys are arrogant or mouthy, and its hard to be accepted by them at first. The term “ricer” gets thrown around here like mad…
If you have a “documented buildup” you’ll seem all down with the scene and should diserve respect from everyone else.
Just build your car and when its done take some pics of it. Enjoy it, then sell it when the hype is dead.

i’ve seen worse, i’m not quite sure on your choice of such a rusty chasis for this spactacular build. For the price to have it all professionally rebuilt, you could get a 180sx with no motor easy
guess where it is now? in about a million peices in a scrap yard…why? becasue nomatter that what you do, you won’t get rid of the rust INSIDE the frame, or INSIDE the rockers…it’ll just eat it from the inside out like mine did.

whos says im paying for everything to get done? im doing the majority of the work myself in my garage. took the motor out, interior power washed it all and now going to get it sand blasted.
only work that is getting done on the car that is not by me is the cut out of holes in the floor and paint for the engine bay and interior
under 1k for sure.
reason for the build is a hobby of mine. i enjoy doing this stuff and rather spend hte money to build then buy one pre-made…to each there own right?
hey man…budget is roughly about 8k. keep in mind that i plan on doing everyhting myself or with my buddy scott. so thats how im saving alot of money. im basicly going to be just spending the 8k on the purchase of the car, new front clip, suspension and other car parts.
ill keep you updated in this forum man.
HAAA save money… I’ve got abut $12,000 in my car and it’s not even on the road yet!! Did all the work myself. Be warned, it IS going to cost you more than you think. If you want to build it on the cheaps, then you’ll pay later!! good luck with the project…Cheers

yup i think i give up…not posting anymore to this site. seems like the majority of the guys on here are selfconscious about either themselves or there cars. i have said nothing about no ones cars and i seem to be getting alot of flack.
