I picked up a Taurus for a winter beater this year and wanted to throw in some HIDs. The stock housing and HIDs would blind people.
Anyone know of a solution other than buying a spare set of OEM housings and trying retro fit a projector lense?

that would be a great place to start searching. I know summit racing use to sell a upgraded wiring harness for the factory headlights. I guess the factory wiring is too small and there is nearly 2 volts of drop at the lights. I purchased the upgraded harness for my moms car and with the addition of silverstars there was a HUGE improvement. The harness really does help big time. If you are set on HID’s a bit of poking around on TCCA will yield the answer you are looking for.
Yeah I searched there previously and didn’t find anything. (I was previously member on there)

Well I would rather do it correctly and add visabilty at night compared to, putting 100 watts bulbs and frying the harness or adding HIDs and flooding the road and on coming traffic with stock housings.
I might try the upgraded harness and silverstars, since that will be less than $50.

Last I herd the harness was discontinued 3 or 4 years ago but you might be able to find it around. it was a really nice plug and play setup with relays.
This looks to be just upgraded wires and no relays?
OEM projector retrofit or bust.
that is not at all like the harness I got. I will see if i still have the part # in my pm’s from way back.
