PRP flying gravel problem

Quick i am still waiting for you to show me this “dial indicator” you spoke of.

As far as booted goes I don’t really see the need for me to put interior pieces in when our cars probley weight the same. I told you i would bracket race you to make it even. I would even bracket race you in my 18 second truck. But my guess would be that you would turn that down also. And as for build a 10 second “street car”. That is nearly impossible. How often do you see these cars driven on a reg basis? They may go out of sundays but not your everyday car. As i said before my car ran 10.50’s street trim and i sure could not drive it everyday nor did i want too. It come to a point to where you have to go one way or the other.

Why would i put a bunch of money in a car that i can’t drive and can’t win races with? Just say say i have a street car that runs 10’s or 9’s? I want to go out and race. Be consistant and put people on the trailer. Really i get no kick out of running the times i do. At first yes it was fast and everything went really quick. Now its like driving my truck down the road. I’m paying more attention to where the other guy is and trying to race the top end of the track. I’m one of the faster cars running in my class (mod) And it’s hard when your running 130+ mph and going pass guys running 115-120 mph. I like the competition. Not running my car down the track beating the piss out of it for no reason.

actually quite a few are 10 second FWD cars that are driven regularly. most of them are on the east coast. for example brian fisher when he still worked for inline pro had a civic hatch back that did 9.9@142mph on slicks and 11.0@137 on BFG street tires. he drove the car too and from the track over 100miles( he lived near Springfeild VA and went to VMP outside of richmond most of the time but did go to crofton and budds creek every now and again) and best of all would regularly go out to street races in the car before the movie that ruined it all came out. He since sold the car and bought a Hot rod class car(lance ho lungs old HP racing civic) that car is on the back burner for him at this point as he is building another sport FWD car so he can run the times and still drive it on the street.

A468Bu you spend more time in the car in the staging lanes than you do driving it which is not what a car a little local track should be. if you are goin mid 9’s bracket racing should be on the back burner cause a little more money you are competitive in heads up classes.

point is that in a FWD you can go 10’s and 9’s in street trim so why ruin the fun of driving the car to hit mid 8’s after tube chassis and all.

How can you judge someone on what they bring to the track. if they do not drive it on the street or not. what class they drive in.

who gives a fuck.
