Show me then. Give me a link to something that will make your car run on the dial. If your talking about throttle stops thats does not make your car run on it. You still have to adjust them all the time. Any thing else is illegal to race with. ( driveshaft counters, wheel counters, etc)

I think everyone is way off base here. If you guys busting a468bu’s balls had the resources to build a 9 second track car, you would. You may not choose the same car, but it would be a stripped track car(to a point). The problem is, not all of us can afford a track only car and dump tons of money into it, so you bust balls to make yourself feel better about your car, which is at least 2.5 seconds slower than his car and far less consistent. I know this is an internet message board, but damn. A468bu’s car is badass no matter what interior pieces it doesn’t have or what size tire he is running.

and once you got the 10 second slip you would want a 9 second slip etc… I have seen my uncle go through this 3 times now. He just wanted his 71 duster to be faster than stock, then he build a 440 and ran 10’s, now he has a track only car running ??? I don’t know, he hasn’t finished it yet.

I finally got a motor for my truck and am starting to rebuild it. right now I am only building it for aroung 400hp or so and 500 ft.lbs. but once it is in the truck and running, i’m sure I will try to make it faster and continue the cycle. It is in our blood to want a faster car than we have now, if not you aould not be here. my $.02
