Why would tubbing the car make it any faster? If the car was hooking on the small tires? You make no sence. The reason it did pick up 3 tenths was because i removed 300lbs in weight.

lol put smaller tires on it now then and it should still hook right?
put on street tires, ps, and pump gas and I will run you anytime you want or are you :eek4dance
[quote=“BoostedITR41”]
Just goes to show you how stuiped you really are. I can’t run pump gas 13.5:1 compression. I’d be more then willing to throw a set of mickey street tires on there. And really you think if i put ps on my car that all a sudden it would slow down 3 seconds for you to get a win light?
[quote=“A468Bu”]
and you think my overall compression isn’t around 13.5:1? 9:1 pistons+17psi of boost
edit- you also need to put your full interior back in the car including dash, carpet, glass windows, seats etc
no he isnt the fastest car. last time i checked i thought tom the roofer had the fastest slip :dunno:
[quote=“BoostedITR41”]
dont forget 3/4 tank of PUMP gas!
[quote=“A468Bu”]
your car may be fast but its a shell. make it a street car then talk shit. and youre tubbed only running a 9.7 come on man you should be faster then that.
[quote=“PewterSS”]
hey that also makes a difference since my 3/4 of a tank is bigger than his full tank. my tank is 11.6gallons I would guess he has a 5 gallon cell
[quote=“Quik”]
I guess you didn’t read my other posts My car was running 10.0’s with an 8 inch tire. I tubbed it for it to be consistent. I can go out and run pass after pass and be with in a hundreth of a second. Not alot of you people can say that. And it was a street car @ one time and i was running 10.50’s in street trim. Driving it on the street did nothing for me. Too much trouble. So until any of your kids rides can turn times like mine. Just stfu
My Iq fell so far, google cant even find a replacement.
[quote=“A468Bu”]
hahaha its funn you said kids rides…tisk tisk tisk… now it would take you more skill to be consistant without being tubbed. so now that your tubbed…isnt that a way of saying you suck. cause you now need more tire, and electronics to get your car to run consistant. where as others are running their cars without those add ons.
youre car is what it is. its fast but what else you expect from a typcial slick car. now make it street trim and run those times and then ppl wouldnt ride you so bad… cause there are racers out there running your times or faster with non tubbed cars
This thread is about Flying gravel at prp.
Not Gbody ball busting.:stick:

kids,think again son!
[quote=“Quik”]
And what eletronics are you talking about?
alright then, PRP sucks for that shit. each day someone or something gets hit with a rock
man, all of you guys need to chill the fuck out.
i think everyone is missing the point…
Frank and staff have made great strides in their quest to make the track better-- no one can argue that. As a result of this, we pay a little more for specator fees, race fees. That is a fair tradeoff.
However, at the same time, if you wanna be a “big track” and have big track entry fees, then you gotta have your shit down tight to justify it. for the most part they do-- but the gravel part deffinitely needs addressed. Obviously they cant do shit about it this yr, so no need in beating a dead horse. Maybe next yr it will be done… I mean hell, u cant expect them to close down in middle of summer and pave shit.
PRP pricing is about right in the middle of the group when compared to other “bigger named” tracks on the east coast.
now, getting to the point of prepping the track-- i wouldn’t expect prp to spray down the track on a tnt night if there were only 4 slick cars. it aint worth it. Now if there were a bunch of slick cars, then yes, spray it down. Street cars should not need sprayed down lanes. Shit, at e-town, u dont even go into the box if u have street tires on, they wont allow u. So ur stuck doing a dry hop if u need to warm them up.
And as for u a4, it is impressive that you can run brackets and be consistent-- that is a good accomplishement in its own let alone going rounds. however, you will see that majority of the people on this site are heads up style racers geared more toward street cars. Granted, there are a good number on here who use to run brackets, but just got fed up w/ it.
i for one know im not consistent enough to run brackets and go rounds. Maybe make it 3 rounds before gettig tossed. I simply cant let off the gas. My goal is to run best time every time out on the track. Whereas others who run the numbers are willing to detune the carb jet or let off to run the number–im pedal to the floor. So to each there own.

those dial indicators, that prevent you from breaking out
boycotting the track. You honestly think thiers enough people to make an impact. I forget who mentioned that.
The gravel problem is not only at the starting line. It is everywhere. When I drive to the staging lanes all I can hear is gravel being flung around in my wheel wells. I also have a few chips from the gravel. My brother got a flat tire from the gravel stuck in his slick.
Get rid of the gravel and most of the problem is solved. How do you get rid of the gravel? Pave the pits and the edges of the pit roads. This would cost big money and this probably won’t happen for years but, PRP is trying to upgrade the track every year. It is a big improvement over the old Keystone.

Wtf are you talking about there is no such monster. If that were true you would see everyone running right on their dial. Only thing i have to prevent me from running under is the same thing every one else has. It’s called a brake pedal
