Well…I somehow found myself in the position to get both a 360 and PS3. I received the PS3 yesterday and its pretty cool.
I can’t help it. I’ve been a PS fan since day 1.
360 and Gears of War should be arriving at my door in the next few days so I will really be able to compare them head to head.

Blu-ray I wouldn’t say is a better technology, but it does have more capacity. Other than that I don’t see much of a difference between it and HD-DVD other than price.
Gears of War has some outstanding graphics and it’s an outstanding game. I got it a week ago and beat it last night. The end boss is hard as fuck.
Is PS3 going to have anything like Xbox Live? I mean now I can download movies and TV shows.

Yes they do. There is no subscription fee for it but I imagine you pay more for certain content. I am downloading a demo right now with the built in wireless.
And last night I was playing capture the flag with a bunch of people in Resistance.
Online play for PS2 sucked horribly…Always laggy and never worked out. Would like to see how it changes for PS3.
What about conneting it to a PC? Clan making and messaging? Can you make an account through Sony or is everygame seperate?
You make an account through Sony. You have a consistant ID in every game. Sony pretty much copied the Xbox Live recipe.
