I heard a version of this a couple days ago that said something alone the lines of the girl being drunk at a party at her house, then taking the keys to the porsche and ripping it up and down the street before taking off.
If you watch tv, they say before every accident that the person was drunk, its a stupid assumption everyone makes…

generally booths like that are built just for things like that… none of that tin foil shit you see cars blasting through in the movies.

thats unfortunate that this type of thing has to happen. Some people just get in their car and they feel free like as if nothing can stop them…but then the toll booth proves them wrong. sorry to see those type of things…
Well not much else can happen when you hit a wall @ 100mph in a popcan. Just think of people who end up in accidents along this line but that are on motorcycles.
I knew a guy who was a professional road racer and a garbage truck pulled out infront of him while he was doing 140kph and he hit it head first (wont get into details). But at highspeeds things happen to fast and their wont be anything you can do about it except die so its better to not put yourself into such a situation.
so the booth probably has a 1/2 foot diameter solid steel cage with concrete mixed with metal rods poured around it and stuckled on the outside. makes sure when a rig hits it going 150mph it wont break down ? jelaousss
