damn… 2nd one hurt there… My buddy went down hard a couple weeks ago on his bike too… Torn acl / broken foot. Wearing full gear too.
Do they not require full gear there?

Yes they do not require full gear. I was in jeans, t shirt and reg hiking boots.

Ah, I just bought new tech 7s. I always had tech 8s. The 7 s matched my gear this year so it was a no brainer. Lol
They don’t enforce anything above a helmet.
But at the time of the crash he was wearing helmet, chest protector, boots, gloves, knee/shin guards etc… We were top of 4th gear when he went down.
I just bought the Gearne SG10’s and they are awesome.

Man that seems crazy it blows my mind when I see people out on MX tracks in t-shirts jeans and workboots. But I guess woods are a bit different.
I bought the SG12’s after owning a set of Scott 450 boots (terrible) and I will purchase another set of SG12’s when the time comes. They buckle easy, the buckles dont break off, and I dont care for the boot inside the Astars. Not to mention they are super comfy.
I have a bunch of Fox Moto boots for sale, different conditions sizes 11, and 12… Ill let them go cheap, their just getting dusty… PM me
just dont crash lol. Seems to have worked fine for me. Know your limits and when you wanna push them be prepared to go down hard.

yea, trees. A few years ago my buddy was casually riding woods and an accident happened, paralyzed from the chest down.

I run the Alpinestars one, more comfortable IMO
