Why not with the proper tuning anything can pass emissions

no visual test as far as i know, i was told at midas that all you have to do is tell them that the motor doesn’t belong in the car and they will test it as 1980 standards

Man the Visual test is soo BS with proper tuning I can run no Emissions control units and a straight exhaust and pass with flying colours.
From what I know the ins company will NOT be told abut this

The motor is smaller displacment and as long as its running right it should be fine
also because the car is old the standreds are lower 4 it to pass

The Emissions on any vehicle are next to impossible to pass.

You car would have to be classed as a hotrod and that tripples your insurance.

My buddie had a 99 gti that needed a O2 sensor
we went and it failed
then we went to a different place and told the guy that it had a euro spec motor and it passed
It passed wink wink but it didnt really pass…
