questions regarding RB25det in 93 240sx

Before I start, I will have you know I have searched and have not found the answer to what I am looking for.

I am picking up a 1993 Nissan 240SX SE fastback that currently has a KA24DE in it. I am not doing a Swap soon (as the engine runs mint and only has 147,000 on it!) but I will be gathering parts here and there to make it easier on my pockets. But I need answers first, in which to direct me in the right route, and gather the right parts…

In Order to but a Rb20 in a 240 a new driveshaft is NOT required. The KA will fit perfect.
However putting a Rb25 in a 240 DOES require a new driveshaft.

here’s the situtation,

If I were to buy a RB25det MOTOR only and put on my RB20 transmission, will the stock KA driveshaft still be usable? Has anyone done this before? I figure with the Rb25det motor, Rb20 tranny and KA driveshaft, im good to rolll??

Thanks
Kyle

Bring it to M.S.S.C(Mean Street Speed and Customs) Fitzy! They can help you with everything lol.

dont remind me…

Yeah, with a 20 tranny you can use a KA drive shaft, my old car was like that.

Thank you sir.
