Before I start, I will have you know I have searched and have not found the answer to what I am looking for.
I am picking up a 1993 Nissan 240SX SE fastback that currently has a KA24DE in it. I am not doing a Swap soon (as the engine runs mint and only has 147,000 on it!) but I will be gathering parts here and there to make it easier on my pockets. But I need answers first, in which to direct me in the right route, and gather the right parts…
In Order to but a Rb20 in a 240 a new driveshaft is NOT required. The KA will fit perfect.
However putting a Rb25 in a 240 DOES require a new driveshaft.
here’s the situtation,
If I were to buy a RB25det MOTOR only and put on my RB20 transmission, will the stock KA driveshaft still be usable? Has anyone done this before? I figure with the Rb25det motor, Rb20 tranny and KA driveshaft, im good to rolll??
Thanks
Kyle
