quick header question

what are the pro/cons of a 4-1 design compared to a 4-2-1 design?

I’ve look around on the net but it seems no one gives an answer without adding their own little 2 cents.

I’m asking because this will be my next mod.

not sure what, but if my sale falls through on the hot shots header, it will be back up for sale once again if your interested.

correct me if i’m wrong…

i think 4-2-1 gives more low end
and 4-1 has more high ends…

is that for turbo or na applications?

the question u should ask first is that can u find headers that will bolt on to the 240 motors WITH OUT modifications??

should be for NA

cuz on a KA-T or SR setup the extaust manifold will just goes together and enter teh turbo then downpipe…
don think theres neroom for it to go 4-2-1 then turbo…

and just thought of this to back wat’ve i posted b4…
on a 4-2-1 header it gives more back pressure to maintain the low end torque…
but on a 4-1 header during high end it has less flow resistance, so it gives more high end power…

what kind of modifications are we talking about?
I thought DC Sport and HotShot have no problems?
