Quick questions about BMW M3's

He just called me. Really cool dude and he’s an auto enthusiast. Out of all the sales people I’ve talked to he’s the first to asked if I served in the military because he can get me the car at invoice. Just waiting on a number for my trade…

Thanks Saxon

No problem, hope it all works out

you’re asking what the best color is?

That’s kind of a subjective question . . . . . according my daughter, it’s pink.

my two favorites are “Yas Marina Blue” and “Austin Yellow”.

X…

That looks good X. I would be tempted to order Silverstone or Mineral Grey of the standard colors.

these cars look so good. something im excited to look for on the used market in 5 years

haha. This is true

I like both of those colors… more the austin yellow.

I’m thinking alpine white though…

I was looking at that same picture yesterday… It’s a really sharp color and the wife approves of it. I’m now thinking M3 to be honest because of the kids but I’m also reading two car seats are do able in the M4. We have an SUV for the kids but I’m sure I’ll want to put the kids in the car at some point. Something about the ass end of the M3 that’s so much better than the M4’s.

I’m also hearing the 2016’s will have a few changes… I think orders start in July though.

I may be considering one before that. These are such a solid all around driver.

M3 or M4?

M3 for sure.

I’m going to throw out a wild card you should consider for half a second: 2011 BMW 535 6 speed. checkout how cheap they got and how awesome they are with a tune. it’s also the first year of the refresh so it looks better and has a much better interior.

Just curious why not an M4?

I’ll check it out…

I like the look and convenience of the 4 door. If I stick with a coupe, then I’ll just hang on to the Nissan for a while. 4 doors and 3 pedals is reasonably appealing even if I’d be taking a step backwards from a performance perspective.

thats what i ordered

f80 m3
alpine white
cloth
6 speed
hk
adaptive suspension
19’s

I want to check out cloth. Have you seen it before or just in pictures?

In person, pretty rare but imo it’s really nice. I never really was a fan of leather so it’s perfect for me

M3 or M4 will both have more than enough room for kids, and will be adequate for some adults.

Sounds like a fair compromise.

Congrats!

I actually went back to Towne yesterday to see the M4 again to test out the leg room up front (I’m 6’2 and wife is 5’9) and to see how much room was in the back for the kids. I think my 3 year old will be fine but my 6 month old’s car seat might be a tight squeeze. Once she’s forward facing I think there is more than enough room. It can’t be any worse than what I’m driving now… my 6 month old’s car seat doesn’t fit unless it’s moved to the middle of the back seat.

From what I’m reading on one of the forums it’s not a problem

I fit a rear facing kid seat in a Scion FR-S . . . . you’ll figure it out.

Of course, I am 5’6" so that helps.

Currently fit a 6 yr old and a 3 yr old in the back of a Porsche 911. They’re not allowed in my Range Rover - too nice.
