I used to be huge into r/c racing years ago. Just out of curiosity I picked up a magazine to see where the hobby has headed. Apparently trucks are the new wave. Actually r/c rock crawling is huge right now. I did some research into it and it looks really cool and fun. Here is a video of an event they held.
The rock crawling looks slow and boring to me.
Trucks are where its at though. I have a nitro car and a nitro truck, and the truck is wayyy more fun, and the trucks that are out now are just as fast as most of the cars. New T maxx is pretty sweet, thats what I would buy.
I did the whole racing thing driving out to different tracks for competition. I got out of it becuase I couldn’t stand all the drama that these older guys were creating out there.
ive had my r/c crawler out the past couple of day and to be honest i forgot how much fun it was. spent a good 3 hours this week end just wheelin flexig then modding it to make it go over the shit i got stuck on.
