Bad idea if you are after what’s in bold.

For $13k or maybe a bit more, you can get into an Evo VIII with equivalent mileage. The Evo will have a much stiffer chassis, similar weight distribution, similar power to weight, better handling, and is FAR easier to find parts for.

Who wants a DD that needs parts from 7000 miles away when something significant (or even small) breaks?!!?

Does the GT-R make you feel invincible and make your balls tingle with excitement when entering a decreasing radius turn?

Sure, but any well trained old ho’ from Schenectadeck can provide similar thrills in a Mitsubishi. I mean, f#$% an ATTESA, if she know what she’s doing, you don’t even need to be in a turn to erupt.

Bottom line: R32 GT-Rs are AWESOME for a 90s car. But without throwing a $hiteload of money at them and having a cousin named Daisuke with connects at the port of Yokohama- you ain’t $hit and YOU WILL lose a drag race to a turbo Celica.

They are great ONLY for having something different, but be prepared to PAY THE PRICE. That’s all there is to it.

Oh, and any thought of DDing a gasoline powered vehicle is retarded. I only put 10 miles on my cars each year. I don’t know why people would choose to actually drive the vehicle they are paying for. Even then, I only drive it to shows where it sits and dosen’t move. Did I put $$$$ into aftermarket performance parts?? Hell yes. But I only did it to make it look pretty. I would NEVER race the car even though I put all that money into performance.

EVO’s interior is garbage too at least in the 2008s and earlier. I giggle at the retards that spent like $6-10K over MSRP when they first came out. Horrible.

I don’t want to DD a point A to point B car. I don’t mind driving the cars I buy, I don’t care what it is. If it was a Gallardo, ZR1 IDC, I would still DD it.

i was actually looking at an r32 gts-t a few years ago that i was going to daily. but i have a lot of issues so yea i think it would be an awesome idea.

Yeah, the legalized R32 and R33 GTS-t are pretty common. Pretty cheap too, drop in an RB26 and get moving. You could probably convert it to AWD as well if you’re determined enough.
