Rad fan controller

ok I have an eletric rad fan and I am sick of always having to turn it on and off my self. so what are you guys using to that it will go one and off when the Coolent hits a certen Temp?

you dont’ really need a sensor…

what I did is that I put a relay so that every time the ignition is on, the current turns the relay on turning the fan on

ya I know, but I also wanted to have it so the fan would turn off if it went over 170DEG or something like that also,

that is so on a cold night the fan is not running if it does not need too

there’s tons of coolant temp switches for rad fans available. Even C/T sells them, and they’re cheap too.

Ya I asked the Tards for it and they are like “WTF”

Very reraly will you find a parts guy at Canadian Tire that knows what he is doing or what he is talking about
They are almost as bad as Walmart employes, nothing beats those people, I think some of them that work there don’t even know why they are there…totally clued out. They just walk around the store with this spaced out look in their face and if you ask them a question they are like “ahhhhhhhh whaaaaa huh? I dun know im not in that department duhhhhh? I now have to keep walking around the store and try to look bussy or like im doing something so people don’t ask me for help or so my supervisor doesn’t give me crap”

PI has a very nice flex-a-lite fan controller. Its about $50 I think. I put one in my car last summer and I love it. Acts just like an OEM electric fan setup but its adjustable. It even has connections for A/C so it will cool your condensor when you turn the A/C on. I highly recommend it.

i have that flex-a-lite fan controller, want it? let me know, yours for 20 bux;p let me know on the westd boards or let max know.

Done and Done
