Lmao
More developments:
At least one New York police detective was riding with a motorcycle pack that chased and beat an SUV driver Sunday after a road-rage altercation but he did not intervene to stop the attack, law enforcement sources told news organizations.
One cop was an undercover officer who told superiors he did not get involved or call 911 because he did not want to be exposed, the Daily News and the New York Post reported…
… The Daily News’ sources said two officers – and possibly two or three others – were among the estimated 20 to 30 motorcyclists on the Henry Hudson Parkway when riders tried to slow traffic.
The undercover officer’s actions are being investigated by NYPD Internal Affairs.
“I NEVER KNOCKED ON NOBODY!”
And about the same guy from the same link I just posted:
At a news conference Friday, celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred said the aspiring rapper was trying to get other bikers to walk away from the confrontation when Lien ran him down.
Aspiring rapper? What a shame, he had such high prospects for the future…
More arrests:
I heard today that the cops were undercover already doing an investigation into them. They didn’t want to blow their cover but since the situation obviously got huge, they needed to come forward. Makes you wonder though how crazy its got to be for police to need to put people undercover in the group. (I’m sure for riding and not being a gang mentality of beating people)
Curious what the police officer riding with them has to say about this situation though if he was right there to see what went on. I’m sure he will give full details and they will soon come out.
Best Snippet from the news yet:
Meanwhile Sunday night, one of the bikers was behind bars after a defiant court appearance. Reginald Chance, 37, raised both middle fingers as he faced a judge for the first time.
Chance was charged Saturday with assault, gang assault, criminal mischief, criminal possession of a weapon, and unlawful imprisonment. His bail was set at $75,000 in court in Manhattan Sunday.
As WCBS 880′s Alex Silverman reported, police and prosecutors believe Chance was the biker seen in the video was posted to YouTube using his helmet to bash in the window of an SUV, police said. After the video was cut off, police believe Chance pulled Lien out of the vehicle and took part in a gang assault on the man.
Prosecutors identified Chance by his black leather jacket with a silver emblem, according to a criminal complaint.

At the arraignment hearing, Chance was alternately somber and defiant.
Chance’s attorney admitted his client was the one smashing his helmet in the infamous video, but said Chance did not take part in the beating.
“My client obviously overreacted in smashing the window, but beyond that, he was not a participant in any assault on that victim,” said defense attorney Gregory Watts.
Watts only admitted that his client committed criminal mischief.
“We concede the criminal mischief,” Watts said. “It’s obvious that he overreacted, but the law does permit someone who is a victim of an accident to at least attempt to get the ID of the motorist.”
Watts said Chance, a married father of six children, was being misrepresented by the charges.
“He is not this thug assaulting — someone who is harmless, contrary to public opinion,” Watts said.
Reginald Chance, 37, raised both middle fingers as he faced a judge for the first time.
Man I’d hate to be a defense attorney. “Look, my client is fucking douchebag, but defending fucking douchebags for their fucking douchebeg shenanigans is how I pay my mortgage so I have to stand up here and say he’s not a bad guy”.
“I’m telling you and the people of this court room… my defendant is not a bad guy”
both middle fingers hit the air at the judge
“You really couldn’t hold back, huh? I talk about you being a good guy”
crickets
In all honesty i do not feel bad for the bikers at all, they were being assholes, i watched a video clip on the news this morning where it pretty much shows a biker cut off the range rover and brake hard and the truck could not stop. That guy had his family in the car and i would have done the same thing. The one biker who smashed the window should be thankful the driver did not have a gun because he would be dead. Saturday night while driving from hamburg down route 5 towards the city i was trapped by about 30 bikers from the “chosen few”. There were 0 cars on the road yet they felt the need to souround my car when i was all the way in the right lane. they could have all just passed me as they were doing about 60 instead they slowed down, cut me off and souronded my car. A few of them braked real hard infront of me. needless to say i shipped my pants.
If there was a lesson to be learned it would have been start recording on your cell phone and when he brake checks, bump him and when they retaliate run them the fuck over!
for sure, there is no doubt that they were out looking for trouble that night
I just heard There were undercover cops on bikes. Interesting.
Like this…
Russian dash cam would have helped a lot!
I keep saying im going to get one
NARC’d
sigh
Way to go NYC police…
New video clip of after they dragged him out of the Rover.
Still upset my title got changed.
Interesting to see that a police officer was one of those beating on the car. Got into a debate with someone about how police don’t like bikers and that’s why no charges would happen to the suv driver… guessing they weren’t expecting this. lol
I’m not defending the bikers by any means, but you obviously missed the part where the Range Rover pinned his gas pedal through a group of bikers blocking the roadway. The real questions here is what happened during that litte scenario…that’s what caused the bikers to chase him down and surround his vehicle.
