I am considering doing a RB25det swap with a AUTO tranny in my 92 240sx LE.
The price is right, and i have an auto tranny now… so it makes sense for me…
Does anyone know if this will bolt in aside from needing a mount kit… i guess there are concerns of the drive shaft…
Any advice would be appreciated…
you dont need mounts r33 sub frame will work, but mounts make it sit further back and a bit lower, u will have to have ur drive shaft altered to fit, u will need to consider fans, rad, intercooler, and how much money ur willing to spend to do an auto swap…
The auto may cost you a bit more.
Essentially, it’s not worth it to go auto. Manual is easier and cheaper
Cross member, down pipe, rad, fans, intercooler, piping, timing belt, wp, plugs, filters etc etc
Lots of shit involved in doing a swap properly.
The steering shaft will rub the elbow slightly. Not a big concern.
Pending on your front sway bar and how low your car is. The sway WILL hit oil pan. You need to tend to that.
