Re-doing the s14

Rice rice rice…

yes fobwall, rice

suck my left nut :stuck_out_tongue:

just a quick update:

picked up some additional parts for the ride ready to install. Most parts from Varun & Bing:

koyo rad
walbro fuel pump
manual boost controller
gauge and gauge pods (a/f and boost gauge)
cross drilled rotors & 10mm spacers
cat
altima fans

next step is to somehow squeeze myself into Sasha’s busy schedule and get him to do his magic

i’ll see if i can some pics for you guys

:frowning:
Here I am taking my cats off, and you’re putting cats on :frowning:

lol

i just can’t stand the smell anymore…i swear i get high everytime i stop at a light for more than 2 minutes

How can you not like that smell? If I could find my girlfriend some 120 octane perfume I wouldn’t be able to keep my hands off her. lol

yes! yes! you guys are all right!I mean…who wouldn’t want to smell burnt gas in their cabin all day??

I mean…I just love the smell of cancer! mmmmhmmm good ol’ cancer

i <3 cancer

Looks like your getting back on track to where you wanna go with your car…ide rather drive with no bumpers and side skirts then the ones you had on there :stuck_out_tongue: look forward to new piks!

did u get the sr from an importer or off someone on son?

^
i bought the sr off spooolin off of SON

kouki front end conversion is always nice… there is my input

I just happen to have 1 for sale, and Quincy has the headlights

**bit of a rant

Finally brought the car up to Sasha’s place last night, first time I got to meet the guy and the shop.

First impression…actually…my first impression was caught by (I think it’s dan? mobile dyno?) his s14 and the retardly awesome wheels that he had on there…drool

Due to my situation of trying to buy a house…re-allocating funds towards my business, I’ve been really turning a blind eye to my own car…and Sasha gave me a nice dose of reality of the amount of work that is still ahead of me…

the sr swap…well…it’s working…that’s all I have to say, after sasha does all of the install it should help with the shelf life of the engine, and any other reliability issues…

I have so much to do to the car…I don’t even know where to begin anymore…
the ricer kit, wheels all have to go…
there’s a lot of small things in the engine bay that needs to be done…right down to the very bolts, taking apart the electrical system…
suspension/brakes/subframe/re-doing frame rails
new paint
new weather strippings

I was trying to do a mental calculation of how much this project will cost me…and i think i had a mild heart attack…

i need to do some serious research and have a strategic way of deconstructing the car…and rebuilding it…and…all this without any experience underneath the hood…
this should prove to be very interesting…i hope i dont kill myself…or more importantly i dont want to kill the car…

i think i’m way in over my head…lol

i’ll keep you guys posted on any new developments

Sadly, that’s the result of dealing with Jay Peterson. I’m suprised the car runs at all. After I saw the shit he did on my Talon, I wondered how your swap turned out in the end.
Anyway, if you want to save a few bucks here and there, msn me, I can try and steer you in the right direction.

well…
like i said…the engine works…i didn’t say anything about the engine working well…lol

but i paid for that…and i sort of expected it, actually…i had just paid for the engine itself…he offered to swap it in afterwards for a pretty cheap price shrugs

anyways…thanks for the offer of help dude…maybe i can even bring it up to your place and you can edumacate me with your engineering skills

and you’re always busy on msn with some weird ass tag lines

Haha, too true about my weird ass tag lines  I’m not busy thou, I just put it on busy so people don’t bother me.
