Got a in car video from the GT-lite prepped civic I drove at the time trial this past Sunday. Car looks like the picture below, weights about 1800lbs give or take and has a B16 with a few mods pulling it around. Too bad I sucked in it (notice me mowing the grass a little at 6:55). Video is from one of the morning pratice sessions, I had to stop half way though due to a red flag being thrown for another car. And the starter at the beginning is none other than TrunkMonkey. Actually I think I might know what your seeing. I’m not use to slicks, so half the turns in that video I blow my turn-in point. I almost always try to brake in a straight line, the rear suspension is so stiff that I was afraid trail braking would spin it around. Once I get the car to turn in I would just feather the gas, try to get the LSD to pull me through till I could get it wide open again. At 23-26 seconds I was just standing on the brakes trying to get heat into the pads, hence why the engine sounds weird. Maybe that explains some of it I dunno.
