Rear Track width and front track width

Ok, so

IM looking at this truck, and what they did was graft rear flares from a flareside bed onto the fleetside bed, and slap wider tires on it

(275/40ZR17 front, 335/35ZR17 rear)

Now, will this help or hinder handling? Articzap was explaining…

ive always understood the front needs to be in the same path to handle well

Any truth too this? How do differin front and rear track widths affect handling?

So basically Would putting rediculously wide tires on the rear help out…

Also, would putting a wider axle on the rear assist in handling in solid rear axle setups?

Thanks
