So I picked up at 98 5sp Cavalier for 200 bucks. The rear doors will not open. Anyone familiar with this issue? I haven’t really gotten into it yet, so I don’t have much info. I’ll post more once I try to pull the door panel off a bit. If I can. Thanks in advance!

Turns out the latch/locking mechanisms were just rusted to chit.
Oppss it seems to be a very naughty problem, as it may look a very small but will seem a bit embracing, looks like there may be a failure in electronics which might be interfering with the locking system of your cars rear doors, hope you do get it diagnosed in time. As some kid might find it really frightening being locked like this.
