Don’t let them slow you down John! Sooner or later people will figure it out for themselves… And nice gains there! You just keep putting out solid numbers and let the other shops just put out a lot of talk.

When you dyno Adam’s Renegade we need to throw mine on there also to get a baseline.
Take this how you will as I have no issues with Jay or John. You and I both know that the V tune was done while it still had cats on it which was causing absurd amounts of knock hence the timing so low. The car came to you after the headers were installed with a free flowing exhaust. As for the other tunes good job. Done fast, done well and they work. I for one understand that customers want their cars done in a timely fashion without bullshit. I know you seem to think I harbor something against you but I don’t. My car didn’t come to you simply because my tune was never finished and I wasn’t paying for it when it needed 30 minutes of work.
I got a few other friends that would like to get some wheelers tuned in if pricing is decent. Mines coming together.

The tune was extremely rich pat and that compounding with too retarded timing creates tons of heat. Has nothing to do with cats. And the problem I had with you was you telling people how I thought I was a tuning god and then claiming my numbers were higher then every other dunno such couldn’t be further from the truth. I never approached any of these people in regards to tuning there cars. They approached me and I told them I couldn’t promise anything and I would do my best. They all replied by saying they didn’t care, atleast something would get done.
I have no issue with you tuning cars. I never once said you thought you were some tuning god. I think your dyno read high numbers. For MY car. MINE. It could be legit as fuck. I don’t care about dyno numbers. I care about how the car runs. I know you are very knowledgable hence I have sent people to you for tuning. It was in fact rich and low timing. What I said came straight for the cars owner. Car went on dyno, timing was retarded to no knock. It was then decided exhaust was to be put on the vehicle. Headers arrived, installed and car went to you. I applaud you as the car does run extremely well and the customer is happy as hell. But you fixed a tune from a car that had a mechanical issue. The issue was resolved and the tune was by you. You do great fast work and your customer base is happy. There is no hate. Now lets twin the G8.

Still I don’t think you picked up 100 ponies from just clearing up the exhaust. Seems like where was room for improvement even if the exhaust was stock and cats in place.

I could agree to 50% of this. Reason i pulled the CTSV & other cars out to have John do it was:
- not wait 12 months for a full/true tune ’ you been there ’
- if in fact it was tuned/it would still be to conservative/half done ’ i can name a dozen cars ’
- i have known Jay for almost 14 years, this is how Jay works and how he will always work. ’ 1st time i met him it took him for ever to put a TPS sensor in my car ’ its on its way, its almost done ’ it took for ever.
- Jay don’t like me for bullshit reasons, i hear it from many people. Doesn’t bother me. But at least say the beef to my face and not 1 min after i walk out of the shop
I miss the old days of everyone cruisen and getting along. But seems like none of that happens anymore. Thats why now all i do is go to the track and have fun.
