Red Light Photos in Buffalo

I have also heard quantifying reports that suport the number of rear end collisions increasing dramatically!

Mythbusters did a real good test of that stuff and it didn’t work at all, so I’d be a little skeptical of that news team’s results.

I really wonder how many accidents have been from running red lights and if the total accidents decrease or increase at the intersection after these cameras go in.

both of my ford taurus’s have 13" brakes with track pads, so I know I can stop… but can you?

i understand, i’ll have to ask my brother. his friend might have lied.

and my roush has 14" brakes and racing calipers. but im not slamming on my brakes just for someone to rear end me. ill pay fines out the ass before i do that

I’m just gonna start putting the longest hitch ball i can find on the back of my truck and slamming on the brakes. Anyone wants to rear end me, it will be through their car by the time they can actually cause me any damage.

I always see those real long ones in parking lots and wonder how many people accidentally hit them passing by.

ugh, working at a car dealership, working at night, i’ve smashed my knee/shin on them SO many times.

ughh, so i heard on the news that the state approved this? if true this is super gay. i dont go to buffalo much but the idea still pisses me off because its only a matter of time before there everywhere.

Great, now we can all pay higher insurance premiums in this area due to all the inevitable rear-end collisions from people slamming on the brakes at the last second to avoid a red light.

Running red lights is super gay.

They should put them on stop signs too. No excuse there.

I agree though, modify your plate to represent everyone from the council… and run all the red lights you want. Eventually they will get sick of it.

:word:

But… don’t take it out on innocent people, take it out on the people who put them there.

I’d agree with you if I hadn’t been reading about how they set these up to be cash dispensers instead of safety devices. If they ticketed a car going through the red 2 seconds or more after it turned red I’d be all for it. Unfortunately they turn the grace period down to one or two tenths of a second so they can suck a little cash of anyone who barely misses the yellow or gets stuck under the light turning left.

Then when they need a little extra budget money they start decreasing the time of the yellow.

That’s the part that really bugs me too, because this happens to all of us, every day.

And it’s been approved by the state…

thanks.

Maybe if you didn’t end your statement with a question mark, or included a link.

Shred and Regan tried to get Sam Hoyett (sp?) to do an interview on the edge about these…

He declined…HMMM I WONDER WHY??

edit: my gf lives on Elmwood and I’m down there nearly everyday, I counted today I would have gotten 2 red light tickets… turning left on red light
