Honestly, I like redbox, I just give them the money. If nobody pays for the rentals, the box will go away.
A buck a rental is a great deal, I rent them all the time.
word. i rent one from them every now and then. its great in a pinch.
a service like netflix is obviously better, but I canceled my membership a couple months ago. just dont have the time to deal with it anymore.
I think these things are awesome. Just another thing that will start to drive blockbuster type stores out of business. Why make an entirely separate trip to get a movie when you can just get it at Wegmans for 1/4th the price?
I’m sure they aren’t losing a whole lot from this. Cost of operation is obviously VERY minimal. This at least gets the service out there for people to see. There are always people that will cheat the system.
redbox movies are usually pretty shitty, but there are always one or two good ones in there. I have found that it really helps for busy nights, if you reserve the movies online and just go pick them up.
