he lives by check too. i know him personally.
agreed.
STM sells em too
You get what you pay for… Defi Ftw. If its that important to be accurate…you need to spend the money… i little more expensive gauge is cheaper than a replacement engine:sario:
this much i understand, i know very well about cheap shit, exactly why im not running an ebay setup on my car. but everyone on here knows the deal with money being tight . i can not drop 200 per gauge, its not possible. i do know defi makes great gauges, but simply 400 buck for 2 guages aint gonna work that money can be used to address other parts. i think im gonna run the prosports other forums also said they were good…
I have Stewart Warner gauges. Can’t go wrong. Defi is nice but it’s definitely overpriced.
I use AEM gauges. Actually I take that back, I bought AEM gauges but I’m too damn lazy to install them. But I hear they are really accurate.
budget:
buy autometer boost and egt gauges(what ever style and color you want) and get the TRE probe for the egt gauge(reads faster and more acurate then the autometer stuff)
my choice:
defi bf’s with the link box(has memory and play back…along with warnings)
honestly, i could care less if my gauges are 100% accurate. when im on it, i only look at my tach and my CEL (it blinks when i get knock retard). when im tuning something, i datalog all my needed parameters with my wideband. boost, TPS, EGT etc. a good datalogging setup is far more important than a bunch of fancy gauges. www.wbo2.com
i run autometer sport comp boost and oil pressure and 2 5/8" tach, westach egt and a blinky af gauge that isnt even hooked up anymore. minus the tach, i rarely look at the others.

^ i do the same, however my boost gauge is autometer and is off by 2psi.
