I am wondering how to remove all the pieces that cover the gague cluster. I have removed all the screws that i can see, but the big problem I am having now is that I cannot get the black piece behind the steering wheel (it has the rear defrost button, 4 ways etc.) off. It is getting stuck on the steering wheel piece and wont come off. Any info would be great.
You got to drop the steering column.
Remove the steering column cover, and adjust it fully downward. It’s still a bit tight, but just be carefull.
be very careful, cause the guy who had my 240 before i broke his while trying to take it out.
Indeed and how big of a deal is that anyways its 4 bolts…
It is only two bolts right up under the culomn, they are gold 14mm bolts it takes like two seconds with a socket and extention.
