Removing Tar/Road Grime from paint?

I have some tar and some other road grime stuff that is stuck on the bottom of my car, near the front fenderwells. It looks awful on the light blue paint. What is the best way to remove this? Claybar? Alotta elbow grease? Any tips and tricks?

i use some kind of turtle wax tar/bug remover. it works well enough for me

Turtle Wax makes a Tar/bug remover, i have it and it works great

Excellent. Thanks guys, I’ll get that shit off today

i use a simple bug and tar remover… then wax it…

did the boyfriend’s car yesterday!

I had some bug and tar remover on it yesterday, didn’t do much of anything… removed the stuff that wasn’t on real well, but some of the other stuff refused to come off…

if it is inbedded into the clear coat you will have to clay bar it to get it out
